Periwinkle Cottage sits at the heart of the National Trust’ Selworthy Green and has its origins in the C17th. Steeped in history, Periwinkle Cottage was remodelled when Selworthy Green was created in 1828 as Almshouses for retired staff of the Holnicote Estate and has for many years been Tea Rooms and Gardens.
This quintessential English Tea Rooms and Gardens has a fresh and contemporary décor and is home to the owners, tenants of the National Trust.
We are an independent business working seven days a week, eleven months of the year to provide the wide range of cakes, all baked on the premises by the owners, as well as light lunches and of course the traditional favourite, Clotted Cream Teas.
